The story of Adam Taliaferro is a great one.
A young man brought down by a devastating football injury, paralyzed, his parents told that he'd never walk again. Adam was given only a 3% chance of recovery.
Six months later, he was walking.
Sure, the articles I've referenced below talk about the doctors, the therapy, Adam's determination to beat the odds. All that is good.
But Adam had more than that, he had God. Our God who answers all prayers.
I believe in miracles and God gave Adam one.
There were many prayers for this young man, from the moment he lay unmoving on that football field, through surgery, during the days and weeks and months of his recovery. Prayer covered him, sustained him, and his healing came.
Not all healings come in a flashing moment. Many come through Prayer, Faith, Belief, in the Knowingness of God's mighty power and the willingness of His people to work hard, do all we can do, and submit the rest to Him.
Some religions will tell you that there are no more miracles here on this earth. That's a lie straight from Satan himself. I have seen miracles happen. I believe in miracles.
America saw one happen when Adam walked again.
Seven years after being paralyzed, Adam has graduated from law school, receiving his law degree on May 22, 2008.
He walked down that aisle.
He walked.
And the Spirit of God walked with him.
